12 Week Course Terms and Conditions

12 Week Course Terms and Conditions

  1. Enrollment and Payment:

By enrolling in the 12-week in-person guitar course, you agree to abide by all terms and conditions outlined herein.
Payment for the course is due in full upon enrollment unless otherwise agreed upon with me.
Payment methods accepted include cash or electronic bank transfer.

  1. Course Schedule:

The course will run for a duration of 12 weeks, with lessons held once per week.
12 week courses are valid for 20 weeks and all lessons must be used within the 20 weeks.

  1. Cancellation Policy:

If you give me more than 48 hrs notice of a scheduled lesson, you will not be charged. If however, I have less than 48 hrs notice you will still be charged in full regardless of reason.

Please note – I will try my best to fit you in another slot that week if I have one available for you to swap to. This unfortunately may often not be possible because my lesson slots are usually booked up a few weeks in advance.

  1. Best way to inform me of a cancellation:

Please text me to let me know of a cancellation. I usually can’t take calls in the day as I’m teaching. Email is fine if it’s more than 2-3 days before the scheduled lesson, but I might not get your message in time otherwise. I’ll let you know as soon as I’ve received your cancellation message; if I don’t, it means I haven’t received it so please text or call me!

  1. Materials and Equipment:

You are responsible for bringing their own guitar and any required materials as specified by me.
Any additional course materials provided by me are included in the course fee.

  1. Liability:

The course instructor and hosting venue will not be held liable for any injuries sustained by you during the course.
You are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage.

  1. Refunds and Cancellations:

Refunds will only be provided in the event of course cancellation by the instructor.
No refunds will be issued for student-initiated cancellations or withdrawals from the course.

  1. Intellectual Property:

All course materials provided by the instructor are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without explicit permission.

  1. Health and Safety:

Students are expected to adhere to any health and safety protocols in place at the hosting venue, including but not limited to COVID-19 guidelines.

  1. Agreement:

By enrolling in the course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

  1. Modifications:

These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the course instructor. Any modifications will be communicated to enrolled students in advance.
